How much it would cost for wind power generator ?

A couple of persons said Solar power generators are costly because of it equipments. How about the wind power generators ? I residing a km near sea shore an there would be some wind at most times.
I am in South India and I need to know the total cost for setting up a wind generator for my home in order to cut down my electricity bill. A set up that can power at least 4 Fans, 4 tube lights (40W) and a computer.

i am moving into a new house and there is a solar panel and a condenser boiler!

the solar pannel only heats the water but i thought that was the point of having a condenser boiler?
i thought condenser boilers heated up the water as you turned on the tap?
so how does the solar panel do anything?
shouldn’t the solar panel just generate electricity in general, not just restricted to the hot water?

You will probably find that the solar panel only heats the water, you need quite a big solar panel set to work the electricity, a condensing boiler means the boiler is ‘a’ rated for efficiency because of the way it uses fuel, but combination, regular or system boilers are all different, but all condense, you are confusing condensing boiler with combination boiler. The solar panel heats the water, the boiler backs it up if the water is not hot enough, it is a good, efficient and expensive system.

For example:

Solar energy:
-Ten minutes of solar energy on a 2square ft plate, can generate 1000 of 30watts light ball for 10 hours. ( i just made this up, but i really want to know about it !!)

Wind Power, geothermal power, Hydrogen power..etc.

i want something is easy to understand, like how many hours can a light ball last for 1hr of wind power. something like that !!!

our main source of electricity in the US is electricity that we burn from coal or other fossil fuels. this means we are letting out carbon dioxide that was in plants millions of years ago. and the more we burn the worse our planet becomes. but there is a solution and it works and the french have done it for 60 years now and it makes up 90% of the electricity they make, and they have had 0 accidents with this. heck every country that uses this type of energy (except russia) have had 0 accidents. when people hear nuclear power they think of something dangerous and will give there children three heads. but really it is very safe because we keep such a close eye on it. i put it in perspective. 1 gram of uranium has enough energy to power your house for your entire life. birth til death. if people just realize this the US, no the entire WORLD stopped burning coal and used nuclear energy. the US only uses 20% nuclear but that can be easily changed to replace our coal burning addiction. spread the word, this needs to happen.

I think that by solar active you mean solar thermal and PV. These are systems put on the house that produce hot water and Electricity respectively.

Passive solar is a design built right into the house. It takes advantage of the path of the sun. Helping cool the house in the summer and heat it in the winter.

Unless you have a lot of special equipment and chemicals, you can’t make one yourself, you have to buy one.

Yes, there are photovoltaic solar panels which convert the sun’s radiation directly into electricity. This technology is over 100 years old.

depending on the type of calculator
im guessing its a small calculator if its running on solar power
well
the voltage needed to power up a calculator is maybe 1.5v or less
so that tells you how much a your strip would give you
it all depends on its size too

some calculators have it just to make better use of energy
keep you from having to buy extra batteries
ur batteries wont die as quickly

About what percentage of America’s Energy comes from fossil fuels, solar, wind, biomass, hydroelectral, geothermal, nuclear, and natural gas? plz answer soon because I am doing a power point for school on it!!! also can you give me any facts on biomass energy? thank you!!!!

Contact your Department of Energy or whatever it’s called where you are, they’ll have these facts readily available.
